Fire last February 28, 2017 at about 2:30 in the afternoon at Purok 12, Sto. Niño St., Barangay 5-A, Bankerohan, Davao City. The cause of fire was still under investigation. There were 9 houses totally damaged with 8 house owners, 1 caretaker, 4 sharers, 3 renters and 3 boarders with a total dependents of 46.
On that same day the City Mayor’s Office provided hot meal (lugaw) and City Social Services and Development Office and emergency relief goods to the fire victims. Their financial assistance was on process.
