R.A. 10661, an Act declaring November of every year as National Children’s Month, mandates the local government unit to conduct activities in observance of the national children’s month. The theme for this year is : “Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan.”
The celebration had Two (2) categories: Filipino Dances & Sabayang Bigkas. Each category was participated by children – boys and girls who are enrolled in Day Care Center or Home-Based – Supervised Neighborhood Play. To ensure that all children were given equal opportunity to discover and enhance their talents and potentials, the celebration was conducted in the 14 districts – City Poblacion A & B , Talomo A & B, Agdao, Buhangin A & B, Bunawan, Paquibato, Toril, Tugbok, Calinan, Baguio & Marilog. Champions in the District presented their winning piece / dance during the Citywide Show case of Talents on November 15, 2019 at People’s Park, Davao City.
