TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of work to be performed.
Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) of Brgy. Tacunan, PS9 Women Children Protection Center (WCPD) and Assigned Social Worker Jeffrey John Sison, RSW rescued 4 minors during illegal drug operation while their father was caught having pot session.
The said minors were turned-over to their grandparents for proper disposition.
Having learned potential terror threats amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the City Government of Davao spearheaded security and anti-terrorism community exercise on Friday, March 26, 2021.
The simulation exercise or bomb drill on terrorist attacks was held in two separate areas: in front of the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (Dcott) in Ecoland and the Bankerohan Public Market.
The activity reenacted a bomb blast in the area, wherein there were actors who played as the wounded victims, and perpetrators.
NHA, OSAP, Brgy. Council of Panacan and CSWDO Bunawan witnessed the EMERGENCY HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM to our fire victims of Sunrise, Panacan with 29 house owners who received PHP 30, 000 and 3PD received PHP 20, 000 for a total of 32 house owners.
Tibuloy Day Care Center, under Divine Grace Laud, conducted ENPES – Module 5: Keeping Your Child Away from Abuse to parents. Ms. Laud invited the PLT Helen T. Tabada , Team Leader of Revitalized Barangay Police Officer as the Resource Person. Punong Barangay of Tibuloy , Raul S. Remperas supported the activity. In this time of pandemic and the increasing number of abuses, it is timely that parents should be taught the various forms of abuses, its effects to children as well as its consequences. It is hoped that through this parenting sessions, abuses to children would be reduced .
